Mac And Cheese Recipe
Now, for the delicious mac and cheese recipe. I think you’ll love it as much as we do. Plus, it’s super easy and cheesy. You can’t ask for more!
- 1 lb. elbow macaroni
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) melted butter
- 4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 oz. cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 3/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 (12-oz.) can evaporated milk
- 2 ½ c. whole milk
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. paprika
- kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Combine macaroni, butter, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, parmesan,
evaporated milk, whole milk, garlic powder, and paprika in a slow cooker.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Set your slow cooker on high until the pasta is cooked
through and the sauce has thickened.
- Typically, this takes about 2 ½ - 3 hours. If it needs more
time, set your slow cooker to medium, and cook for another ½.
This mac and cheese recipe is not like your typical box mac and cheese. So don’t expect it to look or taste the same. It’s more homemade and much more cheesy. I think you’ll love it as much as I do.
