Thanks For Stopping By!

Sassy Townhouse Living Logo

Hi! My name is Carolann, and I really hope you are enjoying my blog!

I adore my family and, I pour my heart and soul into making our home happy, healthy, visually beautiful and a comfortable living space. I find peace and fulfillment in creating, decorating, crafting, computing, cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with my family. My husband and two children mean the world to me, and I love spending as much time as possible with them.

I’ve always enjoyed sharing the best of everything I know and love, and that’s what inspired me to create this blog.

We purchased a townhouse for many reasons. We love how they maintain the outside, cutting grass, plowing snow, etc. We also love the cozy factor.

I always enjoy reading more about the blog’s author – here are some facts about me.

Where do you live and where are you from originally? I live in northeastern PA. It’s so beautiful here in PA country. I have the most spectacular view of the mountains not far from my front door.I was born in New York City and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I’ve lived in PA for 22 years. We decided to leave the NYC area and raise our children in the country…best decision ever! I never miss the city because I’m a hop, skip, and jump from it!

What made you decide to start this blog?
I adore reading blogs. Whether its food, fashion, crafts, etc, I spend a lot of time researching and learning. I decided to start my very own blog in the hopes of sharing some of the things I’ve learned along the way. Plus, it’s so valuable being able to visually document your passions and projects on the net. I started this blog in 2014, and I’m so grateful that it’s reaching more and more readers every year.

Networking with other bloggers is so much fun too! I made myself one promise when I started this blog – and that was to only bring you the best of everything I know and love. I will never share a product review with you all that I don’t believe in and personally use.

Geeky Me: As an instructional designer, I try hard to take my training skills and apply them directly to my blog posts. I want to make sure you know exactly what products I love and use and the pros and cons of them all.  When it comes to software and application training, I want to make sure my tech post and tutorials translates to you clearly with easy to follow steps and guidelines.

Marriage and Family: I’ve been married to the same wonderful man since I was 19 years old. We have two wonderful children and am so very proud of them both. We met in Brooklyn by chance, and it was a blessing ever since. My hubby was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma a few years ago and now more than ever, each day is truly a gift for us all. He is a devoted family man and the best father and husband anyone can hope for.

Education:  I decided to reinvent myself and complete my coursework and attended East Stroudsburg University. I received a BA in Media Communications as well as an M.Ed. in Instructional Technologies. College was one of the most exciting times of my life. Each day at school was an adventure and a gift.

Additional Training: I received my cosmetologist license back when I was 19 years old. I’ve always had and still have an interest in cutting hair and make-up application. I have a passion for all things beauty, and I am totally a make-up addict! Be sure to check out my beauty tutorials!

Career: I work in NYC for corporate entities as a Training Manager and Director. It was a great career choice for sure. I got to travel and meet some awesome folks.

Now that you’ve learned a little about me – I’d like to get to know you better. Please be sure to leave a comment telling me about you and if you have a blog too, please share!

Please be sure to subscribe to my blog and never miss a post. I never share your personal email or information with anyone or any company. I promise!
