1 – Served Up With Love featured this delicious Apple Schnitz Pie which she says, “takes apple to a whole new level”. Her recipe uses pre-made pie crust and this recipe looks easy to make. Any apple lovers will appreciate this recipe.
The Apple Schnitz was purchased from Kauffman’s Fruit Farm and is great for snacking and recipes!
“Our homemade Apple Schnitz (dried apples) is made from fresh apples, air-dried here at our market, with no additives or preservatives whatsoever. Schnitz is a great tasting, chewy, all-natural snack, and is a natural for lots of dried apple dishes and dessert favorites.” -Kauffman’s Fruit Farm

3 – One of our personal favorites is this Apple Pear And Apricot Jam Pastries. I wanted to make something light and airy, yet packed with a fruity punch! Since my hubby doesn’t like overly sweet desserts, I knew I had scored with this dessert! I usually make a few of them at once because I know within two days they will all be devoured. Adding pears to this pastry really kicks it up a notch!
4 – Another favorite of ours is this Salted Caramel Apple Crisp – can you tell we love apples? This one is loaded with the crispness of apples and the crunchy goodness of a strudel topping and the salted caramel topping is mouth-watering goodness.
You can use this caramel sauce recipe for so many other desserts too. It’s great as an ice cream topper!
5 – Let’s not forget about the cookie lovers! This Apple Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe is sure to please and will appease anyone hankering for something apple and peanut butter goodness too!
6 – I love anything loaf style so this Dutch Apple Cake Recipe makes my mouth water! This traditional Dutch recipe is a family favorite of the bakers and often goes along with her to potluck suppers and other get-togethers.

I’ll pin this for the future. My doctor is on my ass about having less ass, which means apples only in their raw form. Or with just cinnamon. Pinterest, here I come! Because that stuff looks mighty good!
My mouth is watering looking at this delicious desserts! I had to laugh when I saw the Apple Schnitz Pie. That is popular in the area where I grew up, close to Amish country. I haven’t heard that word in years!
I love the pictures. What great recipes. i will try some. We have 2 small apple trees that put out lots of apples. While I love it, the apples are not for straight eating because we don’t spray so the extra protein in there makes it so the apples must be cut up and used. I mean how much applesauce and apple butter can you have!
What do you believe I have never ever ever attempted an apple pie? It’s time. It’s time to embrace the fear and move through and bake :-)
I love apples – any kind will do. I bet my German grandmother (who loved to bake) knew about the Apple Schnitz. Boy, does it look delicious. I love going to our local farmer’s market who offer every imaginable (almost) apple. YUM!
Thank you. Thank you! These all look so delicious, I can’t decided which one I will be making first.
