My Top 10 Most Repurchased Makeup Products

We all have those “holy grail” beauty products that we repurchase time after time – and for good reason. They work! There are a handful of items that I classify as holy grail beauty products or items I continuously replenish upon completion. I think it says something when you buy a replacement of an item several times or more.

The following products do exactly as I need them to do – time and time again. And of course, I had to share them with you! 

I love getting recommendations based on beauty gurus that I know and have come to trust. Before I purchase any beauty product, I always do my homework by reading reviews and watching videos. It’s the best way to virtually test-drive products before you make the mistake of purchasing them and end up asking for a refund. 

I shop for most of my beauty products at Sephora and Ulta. 

So, let’s get started!

1 – Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder – Create the perfect illumination for your face with Hourglass Ambient® Lighting Powder. I never go a day without this powder. It’s my go-to all illuminating take 10 years off your face powder! They are available in six shades. The shade I love is called Dim Light – it’s truly transformative! I’ve been stopped by women and asked what powder I’m wearing on my face – that’s how amazing it is. It imparts a natural glow and makes your skin look flawless. I had to put this as my number one product because it is. I’ll keep repurchasing this product until Hourglass stops making it – and then I’ll probably have to go to the darknet to get some more lol. 

 2 – Kat Von D’s Studded Kiss Lipstick – Kat Von D’s Studded Kiss Lipstick is infused with vitamins A, C, and E, an antioxidant complex that leaves lips feeling soft, and the Crème Brûlée scent provide a subtle, sweet experience when you apply it. Designed by Kat to resemble one of her favorite bracelets, the black, monochromatic casing is uniquely studded and topped with her KVD monogram on the outer crown and bullet.

Aside from my MAC lipstick obsession, Kat’s lipsticks are in some cases, as nice or even better in terms of color, quality, and performance. At times, it’s hard to order the colors I want because they are out of stock – everyone is obsessed! One of my favorite colors is called Lovecraft (matte mauve pink nude (cult favorite). Grab it while you can!

When it comes to brows, Anastasia nailed it. The whole line of brow products is great. This pomade is my favorite that I repurchase all the time. With pomade, you can clean sleek lines and the ability to create a soft or dramatic brow look. It comes in 11 shades ranging from the lightest to darkest to mid tones of brown, blonde, red, and ashy. I’m a brunette and I wear soft brown. I personally don’t like a very dark colored brow so I always use a shade up.

Like most women, I have at least several brands of foundations in my makeup arsenal.  Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup and Nars are tied for first place so I had to add this as well. It’s a definite repurchase for me. It’s a cult favorite among beauty gurus and after trying it for the first time, I knew why. It doesn’t budge, fade, or settle in line. The shade line is a guaranteed match. It really does wear for at least 15 hours and if you apply powder throughout the day even longer. 

8 – MAC Lip Pencil – A long-lasting lip pencil that is a cult favorite. Spice (featured below) is the color I always reach for first. It goes with so many lipstick shades it’s almost hard to believe. I love filling in my lips with Spice first and then applying my lipstick. It’s almost budge-proof when you apply this way. 

I have so many MAC makeup products that I repurchase, but if I had to recommend one, it would be this lip pencil. You can’t go wrong with this color. It’s addicting and will transform the way you apply lipstick, I promise. 

9 – MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural – A slow-baked powder with 77-Mineral Complex that provides a natural, dimensional finish.

A powder I repurchase constantly. The finish is almost magical. No creasing, light and very wearable. This powder is a staple for setting my foundation. I like to apply it with a brush for overall coverage.  The shades are spot on and guaranteed to match your skin tone.
