One Of These Homes Is Not Like The Others
I’ll bet you are wondering why the title of this post is called One Of These Homes Is Not Like The Others, right? I was honestly at a loss as to what to call it because this luxury estate doesn’t belong in this neighborhood.
I was surprised when I saw it for sale in my local listings. My jaw dropped for at least 30 seconds when I first saw it. If you love peeking into luxury homes as much as I do, kick back and enjoy this majestic beauty!
One Of These Homes Is Not Like The Others
Don’t get me wrong—we have some gorgeous homes in this town, but hardly any are valued at almost 4 million dollars! We live in a typical middle—to upper-middle-class town in PA, and some of the homes here are close to the million-dollar mark, but I’ve never seen any for sale with opulent luxury.
The description in the listing says, The Most Stunning Mansion in the Northeast! And I can believe it is. The land it sits on is perfectly picturesque and of course, there’s a lake too.
How These Homes Are Not Like The Others
The evening views are even more breathtaking. Sitting deep in the woods, this well-lit beauty features a Hollywood Hills-style pool and landscaping that seems to tuck it away inside the forest at night. The balconies seem to beg for some company and are the focal point of this luxury estate.
The pool area sits just outside the home and can accommodate multiple guests in luxury with it chic cabana and toasty hot tub.
Since this house was built in 1996, I’m sure it underwent some extensive updates, too, as per the luxurious kitchen below. I love the workstation area and the pendant lighting. The kitchen island pulls the entire kitchen together nicely.
This fire pit adds warmth to the outdoor area and is a great place for friends and family to gather.
Entertaining Bliss
Of all the homes I’ve seen in my area, this is truly one of the most impressive. I love the bay windows in the formal dining room. By allowing the upper windows to be free of curtains, they’ve allowed for optimum lighting to fill this space. Brilliant idea!
The outdoor area is truly an entertainer paradise featuring extensively landscaped grounds, a resort pool for 200 guests & multi-patios, fire pits & tennis, of course!
This second formal dining room is simply elegant. The faux decorative flower arrangements pull the room together perfectly, and the florals sway above the window area. I also love how the decorator didn’t use an area rug and allowed the gorgeous wood floors to take center stage.
This sitting area is simply stunning! The matching set of end tables on both sides of the window sets the stage for this living space. The carefully placed artwork pops by not overcrowding the walls.
This additional living room seems a little outdated, especially since it features wall-to-wall carpeting. I’m sure the new owners will remove that and update this room.
Simply Beautiful Decor
This picturesque office space is the perfect place to get some work done and then relax in this gorgeous Chez lounge while looking out the window at the beautiful landscape outdoors area.
The dual staircases and artwork leading to the second floor open the foyer.
And, of course, a beautiful home theater, too.
Each bathroom has a distinct design. This home features 11 baths! Can you imagine having that many bathrooms in your home?
This stunning estate also features seven bedrooms, each decorated to set it apart from the others. I love the subtle pops of color while remaining largely neutral.
It was so interesting to have a floating bed hanging with support wires from the ceiling. Wouldn’t it sway all over the place when climbing in?
This is my favorite bedroom in the house. My decorating imagination is going wild!
Of course, the house is filled with custom closets too.
This second kitchen is perfect as a mother-daughter apartment—or great for guests as well. This estate also features a second two-bedroom apartment!
You can see the owner loves his expensive designer cars too. This estate features an 11 car heated garage too.
Stronger Male Presence?
Clearly a poker lover, this estate features a poker room, pool table, and a wine cellar too! From how this house is decorated, it seems to have a much stronger male presence than female.
With 2 Elevators, a Music Studio, a Massage Room, a Sauna, a Gym, and a 20-person Bar for entertainment, I’d say someone will purchase it soon—even though this home belongs in some chic foofoo neighborhood!
We are going to drive by this home at some point and take some pictures. I’ll be sure to post them, as I’d love to compare them to the real estate images. I wish I could get an inside tour, too!

I love this home story how this is an unusual luxury home in the area. It is so gorgeous. The kitchen reminds me of your kitchen and there are so many rooms that I like plus the wonderful pool.
