Lancome Creme Mousse Confort – The Ultimate In Cleansing Your Skin
Recently, my local Bon Ton had a gift with purchase for Lancome, and of course, I took that baby home with me along with my Lancome Dual Finish Powder purchase (my top all-time favorite face powder ever!)
As part of the gift, they featured a new (for me it’s new) Lancome Creme Mousse Confort Facial Cleanser and wow, I’m diggin’ it as much and even more than the Creme Radiance Clarifying Cream-to-Foam Cleanser.
Lancome Creme Mousse Confort Facial Cleanser
Both versions are amazing, each with their own qualities I adore, but the Lancome Creme Mousse Confort Comforting Creamy Foaming Cleanser is just fab!
Although it might seem a bit pricey, $25.00 for 4.2 oz – it’s not for the amount of product you get. I can’t tell you how long it lasts because firstly, you are using a small amount – pea size, and secondly, it’s highly concentrated. Below, you can see exactly how much you need to wash your entire face.
Lancome describes the Creme Mousse Confort as a rich and gentle, this luxurious creamy cleanser delivers a voluptuous foam to melt away makeup, even waterproof, and dissolve impurities.
The instantly comforting formula with nourishing Rosehip Oil and soothing Rose de France cleanses the skin leaving it soft, supple and satiny-smooth. Skin looks radiant, feels soft and smooth. Skin is soothed and comforted, with a strengthened moisture barrier to preserve it from dryness.
I have semi-dry skin, and this leaves my face feeling soft and supple. All traces of dryness – gone!
Of course, it’s NON-COMEDOGENIC DERMATOLOGIST AND OPHTHALMOLOGIST-TESTED FOR SAFETY. Suitable for sensitive skin.
Comparing the two:
As you can see from the image above, on the left, we have the Creme Radiance and on the right, the Creme Mousse Confort. The Radiance Mousse is soapy like and the Creme is exactly that, more creamy. Both foam-up perfectly!
Lancome describes the Creme Radiance Clarifying Cream-to-Foam Cleanser as “A Luxurious Balance of Science and Nature: Reveal Purified, Pampered Skin. This gentle cream-to-foam cleanser with antioxidant White Lotus and soothing Rose de France penetrates deep into the pores without over-drying to gently remove makeup, even waterproof, dissolve impurities and purify the skin.
Directions: Massage over wet face and throat. Rinse with lukewarm water. Follow with Tonique Radiance for clarified and luminous skin. Dermatologist and ophthalmologist-tested for safety.
Both cleansers didn’t leave a trace of makeup on my face – they are by far the best cleansers I’ve tried aside from ORIGINS Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash – Please read my review of this product HERE.
You can produce as much foaminess as you need by adding more water! I didn’t want this review to be confusing as if I were reviewing both and had the Creme Mousse in the title. Furthermore, I wanted to point out that both are great, but I’m in love with the Creme Mousse!

I would highly recommend either of these Lancome cleansers. Lancome’s beauty product line is always top-notch whether makeup or skincare. One of my favorite things about using this product is the way my skin feels after cleansing – silky, clean, and soft.

Good to know as I would not have looked for or known about the mousse otherwise. We have been using Neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser that does a good job of removing all traces of makeup, but it does not provide an experience.
