We had new medicine cabinets installed about two years ago, and in that short time, the developed some nasty stains that wouldn’t come out no matter what I tried. Rather than install new ones, I knew painting them would be the resolve!

Recently, I got some incredible CHALKED Ultra Matte Paint from Rust-Oleum and wow, the first time I used it, I knew I was in love, and I just had to use it again in my medicine cabinets.

I used the Blush Pink for my Farmhouse Mason Jars and they turned out beautifully, so I knew the paint would work out great for the cabinets too.

I love the blush pink, it adds just enough of the femme factor for me to feel all girlie when I do my skincare routine!

Now, when I got to reach for a beauty product, it feels so good having them housed in a clean and now chic place!

It was so easy to paint and took me all of a few short hours. It dries quickly between coats too. I decided to use two coats for a solid protective base for any future spills and mess.

Since everyone is crushing on blush pink, I knew this color was the perfect addition in my bathroom medicine cabinets.

  3. Hi Peggy, You can for sure. I thought about doing that but the chalk paint is very durable as I’ve used it before. You don’t have to use a topcoat if you don’t want to. I wanted that matte finish so I decided to go without. I’ll give it a test run for a week and see how it goes. I think it will be fine based on past use. Thanks much for stopping by. I hope you have a great week!

  4. I am so inspired. Like the other commenter, I don’t think I would have thought of this to do. I love the color and what you did to your medicine cabinet. Did you have to take it off the wall to paint or did you leave it on the wall? Plus, I thought it was going to be a spray and it’s not, so love it, love it.

  5. Thanks so much Sue. Nope, I left it on the wall and didn’t even have to remove the glass doors. It’s made all the difference! I’m so happy you love it Sue. I can’t wait to do the other one in my second bathroom! xo

  6. Thank you Susie! I can’t tell you how much I love this paint. I even used the linen white to touch up some of the trim in my home! It covered beautifully. There are endless uses for it. Have a wonderful weekend xo
