There are thousands of furniture makeovers on the interwebs providing us with inspiring tutorials but not like these! I’ve compiled a list of furniture makeovers that are so unique and stunning, they leave me breathless!

I love finding inspiration for my furniture restorations especially when they have unique elements and some flair. Let’s face it, anyone can paint a piece of furniture – well, most anyone but doing it with imagination and unique elements, well, you’ve got my attention.
I wanted to be sure to include links to their tutorials to these makeovers as well so you can have some direction in recreating your masterpiece. Not every piece might be exactly what you are looking for, but with some tweaking, these makeovers are a great way to get started and break into your stunning restorations.

1 – An Old Dress got A Stunning Lace Makeover – You can give it a budget-friendly yet a stunning makeover. I love the lace elements. This looks like a high-end piece you’d find at an expensive furniture shop.
2 – Hand Painted Floral End Table – There are times when a pop of color is the perfect solution. This hand-painted beauty can be easy replicated – just let your flair flag fly! I love it and can’t wait to give it a whirl!

3 – Hand Painted Princess Furniture – Sometimes, you have to feel like a princess. This is one of those times. Yep, I can see one piece like this in my bedroom. The hubby will just have to deal with it!

4 – How A Serpentine Chest Found Its Neutral Bliss – her goal was to relax the room’s traditional roots without having to buy new furniture. I think she outdid herself! Everything about this piece speaks of elegance. With simplicity and southern charm, this piece won my heart over.

5 – High-End Lacquered Finishes – There are times when a high-end lacquered piece is just the right fit. The look is achievable and stunning.
6 – How To Restore Your Furniture From Tragic To Magic – Of course, I had to include one of my own. The before picture is astounding. After this vanity was upcycled, all of her glory was revealed.
7 – How To Decoupage Your Furniture – I swoon with joy when I see perfectly decoupaged furniture. This is a perfect example of that. This project only took her about 30 minutes and was under $5 – wow and wow.
I also love stenciling furniture. It makes my heart flutter! Take a look at this beauty! I especially appreciate how easy stenciling furniture is to achieve. The outcome – chic and spectacular!

8 – Masking Tape Creates This Detailed leaf and Vine Design – This is a pretty simple technique of applying masking tape in a leaf and vine motif over a base coat of paint and then painting over that in a contrasting color. Simple maybe, stunning for sure. I can’t wait to try this technique.
9 – A Blue Buffet Makeover – I can’t stop staring at this buffet. Everything about it is appealing to me from the way it’s staged to the color theme. Perfection! I’m green with envy!

10 – Embossing Plaster Dresser – Another beauty from Orphans With Makeup. I adore a dresser with carved or raised details. This technique is on my to-do this and soon. Another photo I can’t stop drooling over.
