5 Of the Best DIY Home Improvement Tutorial Resources You Need To See
Why pay when you can DIY? When it comes to a good DIY tutorial, most of us really appreciate them. With household budgets tightening and the holidays approaching, we all would rather tackle a project ourselves than hire someone else to do it.
I have a bunch of DIY tutorials bookmarked that I always like to refer too as well as a running list of projects too and I’d like to share my top five with you today.
1 – Home Depot Ideas & How-to’s – Everyone shops at Home Depot right? Well, did you know they have an excellent Ideas & How-To’s website where you can get hundreds of awesome tutorials and inspiration? This is one of my favorite places to get ideas and the best step-by-step guided tutorials on the net. Be sure to check out the listing of categories on the right as there are loads of great ideas and how-to’s listed there!
I was so inspired by this tutorial called Installing Baseboards Over Existing Baseboards from http://mrsdoitherself.com blog. She has an awesome tutorial showing you exactly how to complete this project. Even though my house is only 12 years old, I would really like to update some of the baseboards. I just love this idea! Be sure to check it out.
2 – The Family Handyman – This site is jam-packed with so many inspiring and detailed DIY tutorials. His “about me” page says “The Family Handyman is the DIYers best friend, offering a variety of print and digital resources for do-it-yourself homeowners. Our forte is accurate and complete how-to instructions for improving homes, yards, and vehicles. We publish The Family Handyman magazine, the oldest and largest publication for DIYers, and a variety of newsstand publications in addition to this website. My friend and tribe mate Sue from Househaboodle features some of the most dreamy DIY projects in addition to bringing us some of the most stunning homes from all over the globe! I’m so inspired by her latest project How To Make a Recessed Wainscoting Wall From Scratch.
