We had plans for Valentine’s Day dinner out but with the storm today, we had to reschedule. In lieu of eating a fantastic meal out, I made a fantastic meal at home.
OK, so this is a once or twice a year meal to eat because it’s so amazingly decadent and not so good for the diet either, but trust me when I tell you, it will be one of the best fettuccine alfredo dinners you ever whipped up!
Hey, it was Valentine’s Day and since we were stuck home, we both deserved it! Hubby rescheduled the meal and the gift for an upcoming night so that will great fun to look forward to!
Meanwhile, whip this meal up and make sure you are prepared for the oh my god’s and wows!

I am not a fan of white sauces, but hubby is, so from time to time I will make a dish that includes one. This looks like something he’d like.
Thanks Carol it was really good and easy to make.
I make this often in my catering. But I have not added the veggies in the beginning. I am going to try this! Thank you.
I love pasta with broccoli, and the fact that it’s fettuccine alfredo just brings it to a whole new level. Definitely trying this!
I promise you will love it Lois and it’s a snap to make. Let me know how it turned out for you!
Oh wow exciting Donna – you have a catering business! Oh yes, saute the broccoli with the garlic like the pic and then add it to the cream sauce just before you thicken it and before the cheese. It’s wonderful. Take a pic if you can and show me I’d love to see it!
