Creamy Coleslaw Recipe Easy And Delicious – Loaded With Veggies!
Do you love coleslaw but find it too cumbersome to make? If so, you are going to love this Creamy Coleslaw Recipe.
It’s loaded with vegetable goodness too and it’s super easy to make. It’s my no-fuss go-to Creamy Coleslaw Recipe and it’s got all the goodness, crunch, and creaminess of homemade coleslaw too!
Now, that the warmer weather is upon us, I start getting requests for this delicious Creamy Coleslaw! It’s always my pleasure to accommodate because it’s super fast to make and ever so delicious!
I always start by choosing premade packaged slaw. I use Rainbow Salad and Broccoli Coleslaw mixed. They are both loaded with vegetable goodness and there’s literally no work involved other than opening the bags! It can’t get much easier!
There are a few different brands that make these premade slaws, I’m sure you can find them at your local market. They are so good for you with broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and red cabbage already sliced and diced for you.
This is what the slaw mix looks like out of the bag. I love to pick on it as is too as a snack. It’s so delicious!
Then, I use my go-to coleslaw mix by Concord Foods. It’s simply the best and turns this slaw into something creamy and dreamy and loaded with yumminess!
Generally, I use one packet of this mix to one bag of slaw. I always keep a few extra on hand at home too.
All you need to do is mix it with mayonnaise and add it to the slaw. Before you know it, you have Creamy Coleslaw that’s so delicious and good for you too!
I use about one cup of mayo for each packet of coleslaw mix. Of course, we love Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise and use nothing else.
Make sure you blend the mix and mayo well and then incorporate it into the slaw mix.
Once it’s mixed well, place in a Tupperware container and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. You will want to make sure not to skip this step as the longer it sits, the creamier it becomes!
You can see below, just how creamy this coleslaw gets as it marinates!

Thanks Carolann! We eat low carb & I think this is a great way to stay on course…not sure about the mix packet, but the other ingredients are great! Love broccoli slaw! Will keep my eye out for the mix in our grocery stores & see if anyone carries it.
Hi Susan, The packet says 6 carbs per serving so that’s not too bad. I like to do low carb too and this is perfect really. You can get it on Amazon if your local store doesn’t have it. I have a link in the post. I’m so glad you like the recipe. It’s so darn good! Hope all is well! Always nice hearing from you!

Sounds good…I will use your link & order from Amazon..as I am pretty sure I haven’t seen it in the store….we eat salads a lot, but especially in the long hot summer!
Great share! Who doesn’t love coleslaw? Love your veggie mix. And coincidentally i have some cabbage in the fridge. The same brand of seasoning also has a broccoli soup mix. I doctor it up a bit with caramelized carrots and onions and if it gets a bit too thick, add a splash of chicken broth. Today I am making your eggplant parmesan recipe!
This recipe looks fantastic and so delicious! I always love a coleslaw salad. I need to make it more often. I’ll remember your recipe and try it!
