This old jewelry armoire of mine was getting beaten up pretty badly and I knew it was time for a total makeover. 

I moved it into my foyer to prep for painting. It was beaten up pretty badly from daily use, and I knew some paint would save it and I’d fall in love with it all over again. 

So, my journey began and I painted it black and white. At the time, I really liked it and thought it blended well with my existing decor – sadly, a few months later, I realized it needed a pop of color!

Their brushes are a dream to work with and easy to clean. I love this round medium brush I got from Dixie Belle. And, this Paint Brush Set is incredible!

I was so happy when I saw ONE COAT was actually covering that black milk paint. 

Now, I’m so thrilled! I have the pop of color I wanted in my bedroom. What a truly amazing transformation. 

I loved using the two colors for this armoire – they compliment each other perfectly. 

I also love the texture and look this paint gave my piece. 

After painting, I decided to add some Dixie Belle Gator Hide protective finish to it especially since I seem to beat this piece daily. It protects and waterproofs all furniture and is great for tables, cabinets, and countertops!
