OK, I admit it, my family and I are a bunch of cheese fanatics – and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is at the top of the list! We love cheese in almost everything we eat. We even find creative ways to sneak cheese into our breakfast as often as we can. One of our favorites is Parmigiano Reggiano cheese – OMG it’s literally the best cheese I’ve ever eaten. If you haven’t tried it yet, you are missing out on something incredibly delicious. Below, are some of my favorite cheesy recipes and a chance for you to win a cheese feast so be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post and enter!

Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese

There are just three ingredients in this cheese —milk, salt and rennet—and eight centuries of cheesemaking years of experience go into every wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano. From the local grasses and forage fed to the cows, to the milk they produce and then the cheese is produced by nearly 400 cheese makers.

Parmigiano Reggiano is a true reflection of its place of origin and the art of generations and generations of cheese artisans.

Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is produced exclusively in the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena and parts of the provinces of Mantua and Bologna, on the plains, hills, and mountains enclosed between the rivers Po and Reno.

We have many recipes we love using Parmigiano Reggiano cheese for but here are some of our favorites.

First, let’s start with one of our most delicious and super popular recipes – How To Make The Most Delicious Italian Stuffed Artichokes. We make them at least once a month and savor every morsel.  The one key element in making them is using the best cheese available and without a doubt, it’s Parmigiano Reggiano.

I hope you get to try this recipe. It’s always a hit in my home whether I make them for a special occasion or just a relaxing dinner meal at home. I always buy extra artichokes too because they are perfect for leftovers. I microwave them for about 30 seconds and bam – just as good as the first time.

Next up – another way we use Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese is on our pasta dishes. Grab your cheese grater and get ready for this cheeselicious experience. We love lots of cheese on our pasta – you can never have enough of it. I love grating it over my pasta and adding some small slices too. It’s hard to find the right words to describe just how delicious it is.

For rich flavor don’t buy pre-grated parmesan, buy a wedge of Parmigiano Reggiano! Freshly grate the cheese from the wedge for the most intense flavor.
