Celebrity Chef Paula Deen’s House In Savannah
It’s always so exciting to peek inside the homes of celebrities like Paula Deen. Everything about her house is top of the line elegance and beauty. Paula Deen’s house is more of a mansion that’s for sure, but I’m sure she calls it her home.
It features 8 bedrooms, 9 1/2 bathrooms and the listing price is a mere $8,750,000! She originally had it listed on the market for $12.5 million in 2015 but times are tough so she drastically lowered the price. The queen of southern cooking bought the 5.5-acre compound with her husband, Michael Groover, in 2006 for $3.75 million – wow she stands to make a nice profit! Records show Deen now has sole ownership of this majestic home.
The grounds are truly palatial under the bluest Savannah sky.
The listing says that Paula Deen’s “Riverbend” is its own private resort with 300 ft. on deep water. Her property offers a French Caribbean main house, 2 guest cottages, a dock house, a barn with an 8 car garage and 3 bedroom guest quarters. The grounds boast a pool with drive-in theater, outdoor kitchen, stocked pond.

Of course, the pool area is a dream. I love the slide too. I’m sure the adults use it more than the kids do. According to the listing. there’s a patio kitchen with three grills, four refrigerators, a smoker, a croquet court and a pool with a drive-in theater too!
This property is called Riverbend and is a French Caribbean style home. It’s no surprise this custom-built French Caribbean-style estate touts a 14,500-square-foot main house and the kitchen is its centerpiece! It features commercial-grade appliances and an English pantry. It also features an aviary built into the kitchen and family area.
Her mudroom is designed perfectly to make the home’s decor. I just love the green washed out wood.
This sitting area is the perfect place to relax and have a nice cup of tea. I’m sure her friends love it.
What a fun game room. Everything in this house is perfection. Inside, the main house also has a media room with a projector screen, an exercise room, a pool room and a soda fountain! You never have to leave your home!

I can just imagine what a huge task it’s going to be to pack everything up when it sells. Although, I know she will hire a team of folks to do it for her.
I’ve always admired Paula Deen’s style and pizzazz! I can watch her cook for hours. She has a personality that beams with the love of life!
Of course, her kitchen is to die for.
Her bedroom is designed with a level of elegance that’s truly breath-taking. Gosh, I would melt if I owned that mirror over the mantel.
Gosh, her decor is so dreamy. I love little accent pieces she uses in all of her photos.
I love how the color green is a running theme in her home. The tone is my favorite!
If you notice her lighting has the same type of farmhouse style look to it as well. There’s that green again. Ugh! Love it.
When Paula is in her element, nothing can stop her!
Her dreamy Dock House is larger than some folk’s home! It’s equipped with a bathroom too and all the amenities you would need. It’s located on the Wilmington River.
Paula Deen’s estate has ample room for hosting guests in separate quarters. I’d love to be a guest there! There are two guest cottages plus a 10,000-square-foot barn with an eight-car garage and a three-bedroom apartment.
