Below, you’ll see a luxury underground bunker located in Las Vegas built by Avon-cosmetics-executive Girard Henderson in 1978. Now, it’s for sale with an increase from a $1.7 million sale from 2014 to 2020 with an incredible increase to $18 million.

This luxury Las Vegas home consists of a 5,000 square-foot home with plenty of amenities. Under this house, looms a very different scenario. The Henderson’s built a 15,000 square-foot underground bunker make of reinforced steel and concrete. The style features a traditional-style home including beautiful home decor the era offered.
Above all, Henderson wanted a luxury home for his family as close to above-ground living as possible. While the decor, obviously dated, reflects the elements of style he envisioned. The outdoor areas are obviously the most impressive. He created painted murals to reflect outdoor living and carpeted artificial grass as well.
The kitchen, while clearly a 70s design, mirrors what you would find in any above-ground home today. Plus, the wood-burning fireplace and glass doors to the outside are simply stunning. This underground bunker even features multiple conversation areas like a game room, two bars, and a home theater.
Additionally, the master suite features vaulted beamed ceilings and a bed that rises up from a cabinet for viewing. This home also has five bedrooms and six luxury bathrooms. Perfect for entertaining guests and a comfy home for the family.
Remember, everything thing you see below exists underground! It’s remarkable to know this entire home sits below ground.
