The Importance of An Evolving Skincare Routine

Sharing is Caring! ❤️

Is your skincare routine evolving? Let’s face it, we all evolve, and so should our skincare routine. Take a look at some of your #TBT pics and think about what your skincare routine was like back then. We’ve all made bad decisions about things like our hairstyles, makeup, and skincare.

I remember one year, my husband decided to buy me makeup and skincare products for Christmas. When I opened the packages, I was thrilled! He nailed it and got me several things I loved.

One of the gifts was bright blue eyeshadow. As I opened it, he said, “You looked so beautiful in that eyeshadow color, and I know you will look just as beautiful today wearing it.” That comment meant more to me than the presents.

When I look back at some cringe-worthy photos of me wearing beaming blue and yellow eyeshadow, I laugh, but I’ve moved way past those moments and realize they are a part of my personal evolution.

With the holidays close by, it’s important for us to look and feel our best. When your skincare routine evolves, it makes you feel renewed and ready for the holidays!

Think about the hairstyles you’ve had over the years. First, there was my short hair obsession. I must admit, it made life easier.

Then, there was my curly phase. Gosh, what was I thinking? All my friends had curly hair so of course, I had to “try” and follow the trend. Thank goodness hair grows out!

As you can see from the photos, the hair and makeup have dramatically changed. In some #TBT photos, I can see my eyeshadow beaming from across the room!

Thankfully, we all evolve, improve our techniques, and learn about newly developed products that have helped make us who we are today. My skincare routine is geared specifically towards my aging skin, and I’m thrilled some products have helped my skin look and stay healthy.

With the holidays approaching, I always make it a point to treat myself to new and exciting skincare products—maybe even take a risk or two and try something out of my normal comfort zone.

I’m usually thrilled when I do. I discovered products that are now an integral part of my skincare and makeup routine.

I’m so thankful that my skincare routine has evolved over the years, and my skin is thankful too!  With advances in skincare products, we can now purchase products that work just as well as high-end brands over the counter.

I’m happy with how my skin looks today, and I know it’s because my skincare routine has evolved. Taking good care of your skin is essential and is something you should do every day.

As our skin matures, we tend to lose our natural glow, and our skin becomes dull and lackluster. Remember that beautiful, rosy glow your skin once had?

I do, and I realize that it’s due to our skin’s ability to renew surface cells like our younger skin once did. As we age, this regenerative process slows down, but there are products out there that can help.

That’s why I’ve added L’Oréal AGE PERFECT® Cell Renewal* Rosy Tone Moisturizer to my skincare routine. This cell renewal moisturizer enhances our skin’s rosy tone, helping us look healthy and vibrant once again.

After using it for a few weeks, my skin looks rosy and vibrant just like it did in my youth. The rosy tone makes my skin feel and look like it did in my twenties.

Cell Renewal* Rosy Tone Moisturizer is a tinted moisturizer developed for mature skin. It’s formulated with Imperial Peony Extracts and LHA to gently exfoliate dull, sallow skin and stimulate surface cell renewal.

The results are a beautiful, natural, rosy tone that’s perfect under makeup or on those days when you don’t want to wear makeup at all.

As you can see in the image below, the beautiful rosy tone is subtle and perfect for those days when you don’t feel like wearing makeup.

I love applying it under my foundation as well. It works as a great makeup base and moisturizes my skin to perfection.

My skincare routine has changed and involves more products that focus on areas of frustration for my aging skin – dark spots, loss of elasticity, tone, and overall dullness, but with products like Cell Renewal* Rosy Tone MoisturizerI’ve got an opportunity to help my skin look younger and more vibrant and for that, I’m grateful.
