Stunning Walk-In Closets
Stunning Walk-In Closets
They are every person’s dream for organizing your possessions. Choosing a design idea is even more difficult. You want to be sure you thought of everything you will need and more.
A year ago, we decided to create some closet space in the bedroom. There was this useless space begging for attention and function. Then it dawned on me, why not create a small walk-in? The area wasn’t going to allow for a large one, but I knew I could get away with a smaller one for sure.
This is what it looked like before the magic happened.
And this is how it looks now!
I’ve posted about Hometalk in the past – and how it’s your one-stop website for anything and everything home and garden. Well, I’ve created a new board with stunning walk-in closet ideas from so many talented folks. I’ve gotten so many creative ideas from Hometalk in the past and make sure before I begin any project to check them out first. Please be sure to visit and join if you haven’t already. The inspiration is magic and will provide you with endless ideas for any home and garden project.
Here are some more pics of my walk-in. I have 3 closets in my bedroom and use this one for all things casual. I appreciate having all of my clothes separated in different closets so I know just where to find what I need.
I have shelves for shoes on both sides.
And made sure to add a shelf for storage on top. I also adding great lighting inside too.
I hope you were inspired by my walk-in closet. If you have a smaller area in your home you can still build one!
And as always, thanks so much for visiting my site and if you like this post, Stunning Walk-in Closets, âplease subscribe via email below and never miss a post again!
Hi Carolann, I like the idea you have to put little shelves on the side of the closet for shoes. I’m headed over to HomeTalk to see all these walk-in closets.
I need to make my walk-in closet more stunning…I was so happy to finally have one, but there’s so much space, I can’t seem to stay organized! Sounds counterintuitive, I know :)
I live in an old house, built before walk-in closets became the (desired) norm. So these views are amazing to me. I could use a few more shelves in my NON walk-in closets. Thanks for the inspiration!
We live in an old home that didn’t even have closets, originally. Closets were added across across entire walls but only had rods. We finished the interiors with shelves, just like you. Fabulous!
I love how you’ve organized your clothes. I need to do that. Sometimes I just can’t find what I’m looking for and I know it’s there somewhere!
We just bought an old house that needs closet re-work! Thanks for the ideas. I love putting shoes on shelves on the side. Going to check out your links now! Thanks!
the one thing I miss about the house we have now is no walk ins. No room for them, either. Ah.
Hi Carol, always a pleasure hearing from you. I only had the room for that one and am very thankful for it. It made a world of difference for sure!
I have a walk-on closet and don’t know what life would be without it. I had the inside designed to maximize every single inch!
Oh wow would love to see pics of that. I wish I had another one. I just adore having a lot of closets. Thanks much for stopping by!
Hi Ruth, how exciting! Don’t forget to share pics when your closet is done. It’s much fun designing one. You will love hanging your clothes in there for sure!
Hi Helene, thanks so much! Those hangers are amazing. Nothing slips off and you get loads of extra room with them. I also like to organize by color. Makes things easier too. Thanks so much for stopping by to comment. Hope to see you again soon!
Hi Cheryl, Oh wow you must have loved that! Designing them is the best part! Thanks much for stopping by!
Hi Lisa, yes shelving is always awesome and can be easily added. Making the most out of the space we have for sure!
Hi Sheryl, Pinterest is a great place to get ideas. Once you have things sorted you can really get the most use out of the walk-in. It’s exciting to sort things out. Send a pic over when you get it done. I’d love to see it!
Hey Sue! Oh I love the shelving for the shoes. I have so many and recently gave away a boat load lol. Now that I’m not working, I don’t need all the heels and so many dressy shoes. Hometalk is just awesome for ideas. I love it too. Thanks much for following xo
I could spend all day on HomeTalk
Oh you said it GF!
Hello there Carolann, I like the thought you need to put little retires as an afterthought of the storeroom for shoes. I’m gone to HomeTalk to see all these stroll in storerooms.
You would love Hometalk. They are just the best!
I also like how you used every inch of that space to maximise the storage capacity and keep the closet so organised. Well done. Some really great ideas..my favourite one is the shelves on either side for your shoes. Just great!
Hi Karolina, Thanks much for your lovely comment! The side shelves are so handy indeed. I hope you stop over again soon! Have a great weekend!
I like just how organized that closet is! I wish my closet looked like that. Currently, it looks like a tornado went through it.
lol I hear ya. Once you get things sorted out, it’s easy to keep it that way. Thanks much for stopping over and hope to see you again soon!
