So you easily decide which layout to choose from, here is a list of possible layouts.
Once you decide on your default image for every folder, here’s how you change the settings to make them stick.
Personally, I set mine to Extra Large as I like to see each thumbnail in full preview.
Here’s all you need to do to get started.
1 – Open File Explorer by using key combination Windows Key + E and navigate to the folder you want to use as a source for view layout settings.
2 – Navigate to the View tab in ribbon bar on the top and change the settings using the layout you desire. Make sure you have chosen the layout you like best – eg. Extra Large, Large, Content, etc.
3 – Click Options to open Folder Options window.
4 – Click Apply to Folders. Confirm changes.
It’s a simple process and super easy to do.
Now, every time you open a folder, the view will be perfectly sized and detailed to your exact preferences.
