Dubai’s Most Attractive Property In 2022
Alpago Properties, a Dubai-based luxury real estate developer, has promised to build the one-of-a-kind “double” unique villa, Casa Del Sole. The villa is situated on the Frond G “branch” of the man-made Palm Jumeirah island. It is expected to be the largest and most expensive piece of elite real estate in Dubai. The facility is set to be completed by the first quarter of 2023.
Besides lavish villas, there are plenty of other housing options. For example, you can buy apartments in Palm Jumeirah, the area that blends the best of everything in terms of exclusivity, comfort, and calmness.
From An Interview With A Real Estate Developer
Murat Ayyildiz, Chairman of Alpago Group said: “We are pleased to introduce Dubai’s one and only duplex villa on Billionaires’ Row, highlighting our commitment to continue to further develop the emirate’s ultra-luxury property segment. Case Del Sole is a true work of art, and we are glad to report that the construction work is nearing completion. It will be completed by the first quarter of 2023”.
Similar Projects
The Elysian Mansions project, launched by Majid Al Futtaim at its Tilal Al Ghaf complex in March 2022, and the premium golf community project in Dubai South, announced by the same developer in April 2022, are both similar developments in Dubai.
Other Highlights
The duplex villa is situated on the Palm Jumeirah archipelago, as previously mentioned. The Palm Jumeirah is the largest artificial island on the planet, a true miracle created by man. It mimics the shape of a palm tree (a trunk and 16 symmetrically arranged leaves) and is surrounded by a crescent-shaped breakwater to protect the island from the destructive effects of waves.
The island has a lot of lavish private villas, skyscrapers, hotels, shopping malls, and entertainment centers, park zones, and beach clubs. Many expats, who have chosen to move to Dubai for permanent residence, live here.
The recently opened Nakheel Mall has more than 300 local and international brand stores. Trampo Extreme, a 372-sq.-m. trampoline park, is located in the family recreation area. In addition, the shopping mall offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, including the Saya Caffe fusion cafe. And, of course, you can buy clothes and jewelry to suit every taste here.
How To Get To Jumeirah
1. Monorail
The Palm Jumeirah Monorail is the most commonly used method of getting to Jumeirah from the mainland. This train runs without a driver, just like the Red Line of the Dubai Metro. And panoramic windows allow you to enjoy the landscapes of the palm island. A 10-minute one-way sightseeing mini-tour is more than enough.
Taxis are available to take you to the mainland Palm Gateway Station. Atlantis Aquaventure is the name of the monorail station in the opposite direction.
Every 15 minutes, a monorail goes to Jumeirah and back.
- Palm Gateway Station — from 9:00 to 21:45;
- Atlantis Aquaventure Station — from 9:00 to 22:00.
A monorail ticket costs about 20 AED. For 30 AED you can get there and back. Children and all travellers under 110 cm of height do not need a ticket. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to pay with a Nol Card (a metro card) for the monorail. In Dubai, it is more of an attraction than public transport.
The monorail opened in Dubai on April 30, 2009. Since then, two more intermediate stations have appeared on Jumeirah:
- Nakheel Mall (after the shopping mall of the same name).
- Al Ittihad Park (neighbouring Golden Mile Galleria Mall). The opening of another station, The Pointe, is planned in the near future.
Tip: A trip on the monorail in Dubai is a must. In fact, the way back is more exciting. Take the Palm Jumeirah Monorail from the Atlantis hotel to see all of Jumeirah’s attractions (the station is right between the hotel and the water park). And you can get to Jumeirah at the start of the day in other ways as well, which we discuss below.
2 – Tram
The tram T1 branch, opened in November 2014, runs through Dubai Marina and the Jumeirah mainland. To get there, you need to get off the tram at Jumeirah1. 7-8 minutes down the footbridge from there will bring you to the monorail station. Alternatively, a taxi may be less expensive than the Palm Jumeirah Monorail.
The tram runs daily, from 06:00 to 01:00, except Friday. On Friday, the tram runs from 9:00 to 01:00. The interval of movement is 10-12 minutes.
You can use a Nol Card to pay for your trip. Prices start at 3 AED (for a silver card), 4 AED (for a red card), and 6 AED (for a gold card).
There are 11 stations connected by the Dubai high-speed Tramline. If you are interested in seeing more than just the Palm Jumeirah, but also the mainland part of the area adjacent to the artificial island, you can use it as well.
3 – Metro
There is no direct route to reach Jumeirah by metro. The nearest station is Dubai Internet City (the Red line). It is almost opposite the “island” with the “palm tree”. The simplest way to travel anyplace in Jumeirah without the pointless queues and crowds is to call a taxi.
If you get to Dubai Marina Metro Station, you can change for the T1 tram. The same can be done at the famous DMCC Metro Station.
However, bear in mind that the route will then seem as follows: metro (Dubai Marina or DMCC) — tram line T1 (Palm Jumeirah1) — monorail. The route is easier from the Dubai Internet City metro station: a taxi or a 5-7 minute walk to the monorail.
All stations listed can be reached from Dubai Airport, Dubai Mall Metro Station and Mall of the Emirates Metro Station. If you decide to go to Jumeirah by metro and you are doing it for the first time, remember that it is strictly forbidden to eat and drink (!) in the carriage. Fines are quite high in the UAE.
