Using Decorative Canisters Can Perk Up Your Kitchen
I’m always trying to come up with ideas to perk up my kitchen. I found sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest difference.I have a thing for canisters and enjoy hunting for unique ones when I’m out shopping. Occasionally, I get lucky and find beautiful ones at stores like TJ Max and Pier One. The discounted canisters at TJ’s are at times hard to come by, but they are out there!
Placing them on your counter can really change the warmth and add a certain welcoming vibe to your kitchen. Here are some of my favorites that I have collected.
Blue Rooster Canister – This is one of my favorites. I use it for tea storage.
I love the top!
Ceramic Bird Canister: Another favorite of mine!
I love the top of this one well. If they have a unique top – I’m all in!
Chubby Chefs Canister: I use this one to store kitchen utensils I use often and keep it close to the stove.
Practical Canisters for Storage: I also have a few practical ones for storage that while I don’t prominently display, I still adore them for their features.
Sistema: This canister is great because it came with a measuring cup. I use this one to hold my flour.
The one below is great because it’s airtight. I use it to hold exotic teas as I want them to stay fresh! When you push down on the lid, it pushes them out.
Canisters on my want list!
I’ll be ordering this Sunflower Cookie Jar from Pier one!- it’s on sale too for $15!
Certified International Herb Garden 3 Piece Canister Set at Wayfair. I’m going to be replacing some stainless canisters I currently use storage with these! I love them! They are on sale for $78.
If you are looking for something fun for the kids there is this Alessi Gianni Box Canister on sale for $23.
As you can see, it’s easy to perk up your kitchen with some elegant canisters. We often forget how something so simple can make a huge difference. It’s not always about knocking down walls or painting!
